Vanityvid has just been officially introduced on Colnect, a site that connects collectors from all around the world.
Collectors on Colnect can now turn their profile pic into a short video in which they can introduce themselves and their collections to their fellow collectors. Isn’t that great?
We hope that the Colnect community benefits from this great new social feature they now have! We’re pretty sure they will soon start collecting Vanityvids

Today was launch day here at Vanityvid, and as always with launch days, it very quickly turned into lunch day. After fixing some post launch bugs (did anybody say Internet Explorer?), we went on to the local ethnic restaurant and had a feast.
And now we sit back and watch as people on Facebook and Twitter are starting to discover the fact that their profile pic can very quickly turn into a video. And of course, we are hearing their experiences with the product and receiving a lot of great feedback.
Launch day is quite exciting. It’s the mark of a transition. We created something that wasn’t there a second ago. It wasn’t available before, and wasn’t even thought of. It also symbolizes the beginning of the road that we just embarked on — the road to turn any profile pic out there into a vanityvid.

This is just a short update to let you know we will soon be coming out of our development alpha stage, and will be launching our product to the public probably next week.
